Our Proc[us]: Phase 03 – Real-ize

The Real-ize phase is where the vision for your space begins to take shape. Once we reach this stage, construction is underway, marking an exciting step in the proc[us]. At Uptic Studios, we collaborate closely with contractors to ensure that every detail of the design is executed to perfection.

We take regular site visits, which allow us to monitor progress and provide updates so that you’re always informed about your project’s status. We remain your advocate, working with the construction team and helping with final decisions. From the first nail to the final detail, the Uptic team ensures that your project not only meets expectations but exceeds them.

Our Projects: Procurement at Paintbrush Lane

Paintbrush Lane, in Ketchum, Idaho, exemplifies everything Uptic Studios stands for—sustainable practices, curated design, and expert execution.

We are highlighting this project again because this stunning mountain retreat encompasses every aspect of [us]. Each Uptic department collaborated to turn our San Francisco client’s vision into reality. This time, it’s Uptic Procurement- our in-house design team dedicated to curating every detail of your home-  who gets the spotlight.

Designed by Principal Architect Matthew Collins and Principal Interior Designer Julie Collins, with Lead Architectural Designer Taylor Stevens overseeing construction, the result is a home that harmonizes contemporary design with the natural beauty of the mountain landscape.

Every detail, from custom casework to meticulously chosen materials like white oak, walnut, and hemlock, embodies the homeowners’ vision of a sophisticated yet welcoming retreat. Through Uptic Procurement, our team thoughtfully curated functional and elegant elements that seamlessly enhanced the home’s natural beauty. From coordinating neutral furniture to selecting striking, standout artwork, we ensured every piece reflected the homeowners’ aspirations for their mountain retreat.

Paintbrush Lane is a testament to our commitment to blending functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability in every design.

Our People

Meet Sarah McGovern, our talented Interior Designer III. Sarah joined Uptic in August 2024 after merging her design studio with ours, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team.

Sarah brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Uptic. A graduate of Whitman College, the University of Delaware, and Washington State University, she holds an MA in Interior Design. Before founding her own design firm, Sarah honed her skills working closely with architects, cultivating a deep understanding of collaborative design.

Her passion lies in creating homes that resonate with the people who live in them, and she’s constantly inspired by new ideas and the incredible potential she sees in Spokane. Sarah’s dedication and creativity make her an invaluable addition to our studio.

Outside of work, Sarah loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, drawing, and dancing. We’re thrilled to have her as part of the Uptic family!
