In one of Ketchum, Idaho's oldest neighborhoods, Uptic Studios designed a striking mountain home that blends progressive design with its picturesque surroundings. Working closely with the San Francisco-based homeowners and contractor Ramsay Solutions, Inc., Uptic created a sophisticated yet warm home featuring low-slope shed roofs, expansive glass windows, and a mix of cedar and stucco siding. The interior seamlessly connects with the exterior through large windows and thoughtful material choices. Unique features include a full radiant heating system, heat recovery ventilator, cantilevered steel walkway, and planted lightwells. To address labor shortages and expedite construction, Uptic coordinated with Linwood Homes to use prefabricated wall units. Throughout the process, Uptic demonstrated their ability to translate the homeowners' vision into a cohesive, modern, and inviting living space.
