Projects: Cannon Hill Remodel

This remodel tells the story of transformation—taking a dated, compartmentalized home and reimagining it as a warm, modern sanctuary. Originally built with traditional finishes and small, closed-off rooms, the house felt constrained in both layout and light. Our team was tasked with expanding the home by nearly 1,800 square feet, while respecting the neighborhood context.

Inside, the remodel opened the floor plan and introduced modern detailing that prioritizes light, function, and material harmony. The kitchen now features a long marble island with warm wood cabinetry, while the living area centers on a sculptural fireplace that divides spaces without closing them off. Large windows and black steel details frame outdoor views and bring cohesion across the main floor. Beyond architecture and interiors, this project was also fully procured, from sofas and lounge chairs to dining furniture, lighting, rugs, and accessories. Every selection was intentionally sourced, tracked, and installed, ensuring that the finished spaces reflect a unified design vision experience for the homeowners.

The exterior, once a muted brick facade, was redefined into a bold urban presence. Crisp white siding, expanded windows, and new balconies give the home a more open, connected relationship to the street. Our Cannon Hill Remodel stands as a seamless blend of architecture, engineering, interiors, and procurement.

Our Events: Sustainability forum

On September 11, our studio filled with conversation, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility as we hosted our latest Sustainability Forum.
This time, we welcomed Shane Johnson of Carbon Quest as our speaker. Shane has built a career on advancing innovative solutions for carbon capture and sustainability, and having him join our forum was both humbling and inspiring. He brought practical insights, industry knowledge, and a forward-looking perspective that left us energized about what’s possible.
We believe these forums are more than events. They’re a way to spark dialogue within our community about how design and construction can make a long-term difference. Stay tuned for our next forum happening later this year!
First Friday with Jon Morse

We love when our studio can double as a space for creativity beyond design. On Friday, October 3rd, we’re excited to welcome artist Jon Morse for Spokane’s First Friday.
Jon’s work brings a fresh and dynamic perspective, and we can’t wait to showcase his pieces throughout our space. If you’ve been looking for an excuse to stop by, this is it! Come enjoy an evening of art, community, and inspiration with us.
